Removing the plugin takes three steps: take out the code, take out the build and cron wiring, then drop the tables.
- Remove
inbox()frombetterAuth({ plugins }),inboxClient()from your auth client, andInboxButton/useInboxfrom your UI. - Remove the Tailwind
@sourceline and the cron that callsprocessDeliveries. - Drop the tables, the one with foreign keys to
notificationfirst:notificationDelivery, theninboxPresenceandnotification. Use the names your adapter or theschemaoption gave them.
The plugin adds no columns to better-auth’s own tables (user, organization, member), so there’s nothing else to clean up.
